Web development
At the University of Pécs Medical School, a team of over 500 doctors, researchers, healthcare professionals, and academics drives excellence in research, education, and patient care.
In addition to mandatory courses, students have access to nearly 400 elective courses and approximately 800 scientific research topics. To support both students and faculty, a comprehensive solution was needed to enable satisfaction surveys from any location, simplifying processes and enhancing the academic experience for all.
In collaboration with the PTE Medical School’s Feedback Committee and the Student Education Development Group, we began the system design by modeling key processes. The development was executed in two phases: initially, we launched a “mobile-first” web application that required no installation. Based on user feedback, we then created a new interface and developed a cross-platform mobile application, now available on both iOS and Android devices.
The timetable feature is helpful for reviewing, planning, and organizing the day. This interface provides a clear view of feedback on sessions that are completed, pending, or soon to open.
Feedback questionnaires are automatically generated based on each student’s and instructor’s class schedule, providing students with easy access to evaluation forms for each class. Here, they can assess instructor performance, offering continuous feedback and supporting the ongoing improvement of educational quality. The forms include a 1-to-5 rating scale and space for detailed written comments. Instructors also have the option to include custom questions, creating a more interactive and insightful evaluation process.
In the Feedback Summary section, users can view student evaluations gathered over the semester, with options to filter by public or restricted access (such as by course or department). The feature also shows which students have completed the most evaluations, awarding points and creating a ranking system. This dynamic setup incentivizes participation, as students at the top of the leaderboard earn rewards from their instructors.
Each course features a detailed analytics dashboard, where key metrics are tracked through dynamic graphs, showcasing averages, standard deviations, and providing access to textual feedback.
The system calculates instructors’ satisfaction scores, student rankings, and the completion rates of surveys based on the collected feedback. Results can be aggregated at the faculty level, and reports are exportable in both PDF and Excel formats. Additionally, the system can store and retrieve an unlimited history of semester data, offering valuable insights over time.
More than 1,300 student feedback surveys were completed, along with over 3,000 instructor surveys. In a single semester, there were 20,000 submissions, totaling 60,000 over the entire period.

Since the system needed to be available both as a web and downloadable mobile application, we implemented the development using cross-platform technologies.
